ON24 just released its annual Webinar Benchmarks Report. Highlights from the report include:

2012 saw webcasts play a more valuable role than ever:

  • The average webcast captured 433 registrants
  • Marketing webcasts are averaging a 42% registrant-to-attendee conversion rate
  • The average viewership per webcast is 53 minutes

When it comes to promotion of webcasts:

  • Tuesdays are the best day to send promotional emails
  • 64% of registrants register the week of the live webcast event

On-demand viewing extends your reach and engagement:

  • An average 25% of those who registered for a webcast viewed the archived version post live-event
  • The average on-demand viewing time is 46.8 minutes

According to the report, ON24 supported over 20,000 webcasts globally last year, and the report is based on a random subset of those events.
