Industry Leaders from Google & Cisco Take the Keynote Stage in New York; Survey Results Validate Interop’s Position as the Leading Business Technology Event
Interop New York announces initial keynotes for this year’s event and showcases breaking results from the Interop Las Vegas attendee survey. Speakers from Cisco and Google will deliver focused and insightful presentations from the main stage, demonstrating Interop’s role as the most comprehensive, independent event that focuses on business technology. Further validating the event’s leading position as the event for business technology professionals planning their future IT strategy, Interop is also releasing the results from the Interop Las Vegas attendee survey. Interop New York will take place at the Javits Convention Center, October 1-5, 2012.
Interop is excited to announce that Cisco and Google will take the main stage in New York. The event will feature Doug Merritt, Senior Vice President of Products and Solutions for Cisco and Ben Fried, Chief Information Officer for Google. In New York, the keynote speakers will focus on the trends facing business IT professionals and will provide attendees with the information needed to make smarter business decisions in their IT strategies as they seek the latest solutions for the ever changing needs of their enterprise.

Interop surveyed Interop Las Vegas 2012 attendees via email and found that the Interop event series continues to play a critical role for those on the cutting edge of business technology. According to the survey, the following was uncovered:
- Interop continues to be the industry’s premier business technology event with over 60 percent of Interop Las Vegas attendees stating that they got a “great overview” of the latest trends and technologies in the market.
- Over 50 percent of Interop Las Vegas attendees responded that they are “highly likely” to do business with one or more of the exhibitors they met at Interop.
- Over 55 percent of Interop Las Vegas attendees responded that they have found new suppliers that they otherwise would not have considered using.
